a lot of times I am more interested in just hanging around, relaxing, bs'ing with the gang, enjoying the surrounding with my phone off etc. then actually fishing. Who knows, maybe this is because I was never a really good fisherman. As I get older it has gotten worse...feel no need to have a full cooler or show everyone my take for the day..a 50 lb Striped Bass from the Surf..that I would like to accomplish before I go down for the count :D

Good post Detour. A couple that I remember by unknown, "Old fishermen never die, they just smell that way", probibly said by a wife who was glad hubbie went fishing and got out from under foot.
