headed up to NY side of GWL saturday after meeting up w Dale (getanet) on the way. Took the big boat to stretch its legs after sitting for a month off from LH :( first 2 drops Dale nails 2 FAT crappies on the binsky while Im riggin trolling rods and not even in the water yet! We did some jigging and bottom bouncing til around lunchtime coming up w slab after slab in both spots we worked, and I came up w a nice eye on the troll. Was a beautiful day it warmed up and was calm, gorgeous day on the water in fall. The feedbags are definitely on the past few weeks. Water temps a solid 55-56 everywhere we fished. pics to prove it happened. Bonuse pic on bottom

We ran into Scoward in his yak, Dale recognized him from his pics on the site and we BSd w him for a few while jigging. He then proceeds to jig up his first eyeball ever and popped his cherry. Great job and Id bet hes got the itch now like the rest of us do lol.......nice seeing fellow NJF'ers

Good job guys....It was a nice weekend for sure....today is freezing, but ain't gonna stop me.......Funny how the fishing community is so widespread....I bumped into Andrew from this site in Dick's the other night .....lol......Good job!!!!!

Good catching Jimmy and Dale! Wish I could've joined you out there. Worked til 2, heade to the BIG D for the evening bite. Came up with a short Eye and a bunch of PINNER SMALLIES. Great weather Saturday. Nice Walleye and some tasty looking slabs!!!

Nice fish, where did you launch from? i wanted to go last weekend but wasn't sure who/where was open for launching.

I tossed her in at willowpoint on NW side, theres a few marinas still open for launching, just call ahead during the week and find out. supposedly guys launch from south side too still, but its a long run if your not high on HP to get up north

Pretty sure the long pond marina ramp is always open.$10 in the pay box,$20 on weekends.

FYI bring waders or boots if you head up to SW. I been fishin it past few weeks since LH is off limits to me now. its good up there but dock is pulled as of 2 weekends ago u have to wet launch to get it in.
