Fall Sharking

It might be late in the game but a question for the folks who shark fish in the fall. Without asking for precise spots, do you tend to focus on the more in shore fathom lines when fall sharking more so than in the spring. It seems like more reports come from 20 fathom line area late in the season as opposed to spots more off shore. Maybe it has something to do with the bait migrating south tend to hug the coast more but was just wondering for those who target fall sharks, if there's any truth to concentrating your efforts more in shore than off shore.

Whever the blues, false albies, and bluefin tuna are, thats where makos are going to be feeding. In the fall I would concentrate between 5 and 25 miles out as apposed to our spring sharking where we can be up to 50 miles out. The mudhole is right in the fall area.
