Mother Nature, That Bitch!!!!!!

Jigman13 and myself have be talking about fishing another resrvoir for a change.
Got up there about seven thirty am, breezy but not too bad. As the morning continued the wind started crankin and never let up! I had my trolling motor on max and where being pushed backwards by the wind and waves. I haven't fished in conditions like that in quite some time and really limited our options.

We fished a couple area's and ended up in the launch cove since that was the only place on the entire lake that we had any decent marks on the FF. We braved or stupided it out till almost six pm as insane as that sounds. we ended up with one smallie and one largemouth, loosing two other fish and had a couple soft bites but that was it for the day.
Weather is REALLY creating issues for fishing, whether it's too warm, waters too low,etc fish are really confused.

Now they are calling for 70 degrees by next weekend?????

THE WEATHER IS INSANE!!!! Gotta be out there to get em! I have that brand new used once Minn Kota trolling motor for you if you need it, 40 thrust!

Heck buddy I don't think it's the fish that are confused, I think it's us. If your only going to get one fish might as well be a Hybid, huh buddy. Got to give you guys credit for that SBB attitude and staying out all day. :confused:

Thanks for the votes of confidence! Yea very hard to fish for something other than HYBRIDS! HAHAHAHA! We even fished about a half an hour around the boat dock AFTER we pulled the boat out of the water!
I refuse to put my boat away !!! I will catch more HYBRIDS before the year is out, there's still about a foot of water at LEE"S which is deep enough for me!!!

Good times Dale. I felt like I was winter sea bass / cod fishing off the texas tower in January/Feb.! We tried to give them hell but Mother Nature gave it right back. We'll get em', though. We know they're in there!
