We found a ton of life early today but it was mostly cocktail blues and herring the first few stops. Al got a nice striper before things fell apart in the first area. We also foul hooked a sturgeon which was really cool to see up close. It released itself before I had to figure out how to unhook it without bringing it aboard:rolleyes:
Made a move and stopped on some great readings but it was all little weakfish. A few guys took their limit:rolleyes: :rolleyes: but most were released. It was nice to see them.
Next move got us into the monster blues again with another nice bass jigged up by Edward aka Tiny that took the pool.
All in all not a banner day but we sure did have some variety! The amount of bait we are seeing is truly amazing so hopefully it hold the fish that are here and brings in more as the water cools.
We are not sailing tomorrow, Wednesday 10-23 and we are chartered Friday the 25th.
