Last Days at the Sheds

Went to OR for the last day open 10/13 Sunday. I ended up doing OK caught
5 fish 3 decent ones in the pics below. 1st was almost 3lbs. 2nd was 4 1/2lbs
the 3rd was 4 lbs and the 2 i did not take pics of were just under 2lbs. All fish
were caught on Green Pumpkin 1oz jig in 5-8 frt of water on rock points. Then
I hit Echo this past Saturday and yesterday. I got there around 6 on Saturday calm water I landed the 42" Muskie below around 7:30 and the bass around 9 then nothing after that. While on the water Sunday I caught the last pic below LM was 2.8 lbs then I ran into Mitch and one of his buddies on the water he said he got skunked but i do believe I saw one of them pull in a Fishing rod they hooked into just up in front of me. That probably does it in fresh water for me for the year.

Hey Harvey....lol......First off, great job under tough conditions...we had a rough one for sure.....My buddy caught two things that day....One a 10" smallmouth and two, yes he snagged a rod and reel!!.....You have good eyes!!!.....LOL....We ended up throwing it onshore where he caught it, it was pretty rusted up......I had that one Muskie as we were leaving but only a follow, he never hit my bait.....I was frustrated to say the least..small little barely there bites all day prob. perch for me.......You got some nice ones for sure......Maybe see you again out there this week....if you ever have an open seat, pm me and I'll meet you anytime.......would love to fish w/ you sometime......Great report and great pics!!....FISH ON BUDDY!!!!

Great pics and report dude!!! Nice Musky and WOW, thats one giant LARGEMOUTH you caught. Must of been a great fight. Way to get your moneys worth out of the SHEDS!!! Good stuff!!!

Nice job, those are some nice fattie's on the jig!!!! Glad somebody's catchin some fish! Hopefully we'll get a decent bite pretty soon. I fish year round so i'll hit em' sooner or later. When they turn on it's gonna be hot and heavy!

Echo just doesn't seem ready yet or something. We had a pretty slow day last week also. Nice haul from OR though! It's really unfortunate the others down as it just starts to get good every year. If anyone wants to try to talk to the board and get them open later next year I am interested in working on that as well. I would like to make a push to try to get some other sheds/reservoirs open and I have a relative plan. Anyone interested in making a legit effort feel free to pm me and we can talk some things over. I have a relative plan.

fishfinder, let's hope so......pretty sure I may be heading back this weekend again if my buddy fixes his trailer......we definately need a cool off and this week overnights have been in the upper 40's which is good.....maybe see you there....if so, say hello
