I started my day off bowhunting in PA nothing doing so I packed it in made the trip to the musky saxon falls area got a few lmb and had 1 rainbow on lost him and I'm giving up, water was flowing good at the musky. Well heading home I got the itch to try flat brook the water is clear as glass and very low the bigger holes have some nice looking bows in them. They are a bit hard to get a lot of lookers with out hits and some run from the fly, I did manage 3 16''ers on my bead head egg pattern I make.

It's always cool when you catch fish on lures or rigs you make yourself!

Yes it is a thrill on its own to catch a fish on your own fly or lure and its fun to sit on a cold winter night and make up some flies trout fishing.

Nice. I love that area of the state.
When I fish the Flatbrook area in the spring, I usually combine my fishing trip with a trip to the shooting range at the WMA.
