Jimmy and myself along with Anthony were at Lee's this morning to do some pre-fishing to locate fish for tomorrow. We were faced with alot of difficulty launching both rigs 19ft deep V's. At the end of the ramps there are piles rocks and debris. The only ramp that is semi useable is the middle ramp and once your in the water you need to pull your boat to the left of the ramp by rope. It's definetly NOT a Power on Power off the trailer. And then use your electric motor trimmed way up to avoid rocks and debris before you reach deeper water to run the big motor.
I will be there early, prob before 6:00am to help anyone who needs help and that will be most of us. I'm bringing my waders.
As far as the fishing goes we had an extremely poor outing today. The fish are not in the normal fall pattern and spots that they should be in.
Jimmy had his PB walleye about 7/8lbs and one crappie. We had two other hits and that was it for the day.
It was extremely windy today and the forecast is the same for tomorrow.
I do not anticipate good fishing or weather conditions or launching conditions.
That being said we plan to proceed anyway but want to be truthful and make anyone coming informed of the situation.
So use your discretion and COMMON SENSE!
My plan is to double anchor and chum to hopefully draw some fish and trigger a bite.
It will be a rough day all around so consider it heavily before making your decision to come or not.

Its good to be honest, warm weather and a lowered lake will confuse the fish. It happens. No worries, slow Herring bite, we can jig til our arms fall off. Ramp conditions are sketchy but once we get on the water that will be in the back of everyone's minds.

Let's get em!!!! Something will be caught!!! Tomorrow's going to be an AWESOME DAY!!!!!

Be careful launching. We don't need anyone busting a prop, make sure your engines are up. Break out the oars if you don't have a trolling motor. Get to the ramp early, launching help will be available.

TIGHT LINEZ!!!!! FISH ON!!!!!!

Would launching from the state park be a better option?

Hey guys...been away on business all week and just saw the updates today.

Getanet and Jimmy....thanks for the honest updates from today. My fishing buddy that I was going to bring along does not want to chance it so we are going to head to another place. I'm not gonna drag him along if he is not into it.

Good luck out there guys....hope it ends up being the dumbest decision of my fishing career and you kill 'em. :D

I'll let you know where we end up and if we run into anything good.

Hope to catch up with you guys soon. Bummer cause I was really looking forward to getting out there and meeting you guys.

Ken

Man, what a bummer. I certainly appreciate the honesty tho as I was gonna be using someone else's boat. If it were my own boat I might take the chance, but I guess I'll be fishing Greenwood Lake tomorrow instead.:(
