SOLD. SOLD Shimano Calcutta 400 BVS reels loaded with 30lb PP braid and mono topshot. These were used for guests when out on the boat which was not very often due to my friends all have my custom rods. $160 each or $300 for the pair. Can't even buy the reel alone for that money. Fuji guides, reel seat and nice rubber gimbal. Great all around rod from fluke to stripers!!

The rods are graphite composite with medium action. The rod can handle up to 8 maybe 10 ounces. They are not fast action so it depends on personal preference. I used them for ocean fluking and clamming stripers mostly.
I hope that helps!

I'd like to know the length of the rods too.
I'm just interested in 1 rod, not any reels so if it works out that you have to break things up let me know.

Guys, The rods are 7' long Batson Rainshadow blanks. 15-30lb medium action.
The pictures aren't best, nothing like seeing them in person and holding them to test the action.
Live in Allentown Pa but my boat is down by the Highlands. So can meet on route 36 or anywhere central Jersey whatever works best.
Thanks

Would you consider parting out? I would be interested in both reels

And I'd be interested in the rods if you decide to split these outfits up.
