I was there 2 weeks ago and fishing was unbelievably slow. We caught like 3 fish in 2 full days. Hit everything, deep spots, rock piles, weedbeds, docks, etc up and down the lake. Everyone we spoke to had the same results however it can turn on in an instant. Apparently mid-late September can be a real difficult time up there. We stayed at La Quinta in Danbury and they gave us a room we could park the boat next to so we could run an extension cord to it to charge the batteries. We launched at Lattins Cove, nice free launch with plenty of parking. Go to candlewood bait and tackle the owner (I think his name is Pete) is really helpful and a nice guy, he'll get you in tune with the bite at the time (hopefully there is one). If you want smallmouth I'd look at humps/rick piles in 25ft +/- drop shot is a key up there.

thanks alot. smally is the target, think the water is too warm to school them up right now,,we are leaving the 28th so maybe..maybe.. we all know that deal,,,usually fish lakes for suspenders off shoals daytime(hit and miss) but evenings they almost always rush the reefs next to deep water,,just gotta find those little humps and look for marks outside,,thanks again
