Had the distinct pleasure of fishing with Jimmy the Greek today on his yacht.:)
Wind was honking till about 9 AM so we got a late start waiting around for it lay down a little.
Jim knows his fishing, that's for sure.
The first spot was a bust although he was marking quite a few fish, they did not bite with the blow.
Picked up and found a quiet cove with more fish being marked.
We put out some live baits and Jim pulls out the Binsky and in short order hooks an 8lb. 8oz. striper.
Put up a good long fight and actually bent the Binsky:eek:
We hooked a landed a few small ones as well as 1 dink Perch.
Jim gave it his all and it showed.
Bluebird sky and wind did not make the catching easy, but this guy lives to fish...and catch.
Thanks for the invite and I can honestly say I have not met a nicer more engaging person in a long while.

Was a pleasure to meet and fish with you Wilson, good times for sure. Today was honestly the worst conditions wind wise Ive ever had on LH, there were 1-2 footers with whitecaps from before sunrise and the wind was honking 30+ with stronger gusts from before dawn. None of the regulars went out, they hung around Dows for a bit and went home, it was just us and 1 other boat of nutjobs out there. Im just glad we managed to put a decent catch together, cant take a skunk on my home water LOL!

And for the record I did hook that monster, but thats it. We had a skunk up until that point and I handed the rod to Wilson so he could enjoy the fight of a striper. I catch them all the time so no biggie, but I had NO clue it was a big tanker. He stayed deep and headshaked the whole fight, a good 5 minutes maybe more, I thought it was a huge walleye at first. Wilson is a very experienced fisherman and played the fish perfectly, couldnt have done better myself. For the record that fish is a tag team effort I cant take all the credit Wilson did the hard part its his fish really. I am so looking forward to fall and the meet & greet, Wilson is already warming up! lol

Hardcore fishing for sure today! GREAT JOB BOYZ!!!! WAY TO GO WILSON!!!!
Jimmy is one of the best fisherman I know. He put me on to my PB last year!
Team effort is what it's all about!!!
