Hit a local spot this evening with a buddy for a bit of action. We had LMB, yellow perch, crappie, and some nice pickeral all on a spring-timey pattern of patiently twitched minnow baits. It started out slow, and picked up as the sun dropped. We beat it back to the launch once we started hitting submerged trees and such we could no longer see. It was quick, but a nice way to get back on the water after a work filled summer kept the rods stowed more than I like.
