Finally caught a decent fish this summer.
About 2 1/2 - 3 lb. Wally on a Andy S jig:p
Pulled hard on my Trout rod and 4 lb. test.
Unfortunately the wife can't work any electronics except a effing smart phone.
Pix taken from the bridge with no zoom with my camera... and then heavily cropped, pix sucks.
"I don't know where the zoom control is" she sez. Bang Zoom to the moon Alice:mad:
Also caught a ton of Bluegills and SMB on spinners, jigs and worms.
Ran up stream to check out the river clean up crew when they came into view.
Great weather today.

I like the unique perspective the picture was taken from, also.
Kind of like an aerial view.
Maybe the picture didn't convey all the information you wanted it to or show just how big the fish actually was, but it's still a good pic.
I stopped at Nevius Street the other day on my way home to see what it looked like without the dam. It looks like the dam was never there.

Speaking of smartphones, its amazing to me the risks anglers take using cellphones near water. They are NOT waterproof. Is a pic of fish worth losing a $400 phone? Yikes. Get yourself a good waterproof camera for $200-250 and your set for years!

I shouldn't, but I do.
It's tough to take pictures of yourself holding a fish with a conventional camera, especially in a kayak. The iPhone just lends itself well to taking 'selfies' because you can use the front camera and see how you're composing your pic in the display before you shoot the picture. This way I can see when I have my fish and my big head in the frame.

I don't own a smart phone although my wife does. The only one I've seen that takes pretty good photos is the Galaxy 4 or 5 or whatever.
My wife's is a Droid Razor M. The pictures are not clear especially in low light or when cropping.
My cell phone is a Casio Ravine military spec waterproof and shock resistant. It's been dropped in various rivers and still works well.
Takes lousy pictures though, and is an old school flip phone.
Most of the waterproof cameras suffer from low battery life as well as not having the greatest image quality although it's better then cell phones. They tend to be bulky as well.
Here is the raw shot before I worked it over.
It would have been way better if she zoomed in.
And my wife thanks you all for your positive comments:o
