Ended up takin the GF out for her first fishing trip. Planned on an early day but she decided to come out as I was walking out the door........almost an hour later she was finally ready to go lol. Didnt get on the water til like after 7am, which is very late for summertime stripers. Anyway I marked lots of fish, but they were very tight lipped this weekend. Well for the hour or so I fished we managed a bunch of white and yellow perch, and a few stripers. She got her first one all on her own, took a couple tries tho, she was too excited to let em run and listen to the clicker go off. Spent the rest of the day having Bfast at the market via boat and suntanning in byram bay til the afternoon. Guess it was good to just be out on the water relaxing for once.......and the views werent bad from the front of my boat lol

Talk about the best of both worlds.....Did the same myself last friday, Hit IBSP for some surf fishing, and the wife decided to tag along, had a great day on the beach, then hit the boardwalk for massive amounts of seafood.

Nice report Buddy, sorry too much static on the cell yesterday, talk to ya soon! We ended up with a nice catch yesterday after I talked to you, just waiting for my daughter to put the pics on the computer so I can post.

Yeah I hear ya, but there are some good ones out there, just takes alot of throwbacks before you get a keeper. This one never stops me from fishing, has no problem with it at all. Shes agreed to special conditions in a pre-nup if it gets that far, the conditions other than the fishing section are pretty good too ;) LOL
