Mid-week Combo Report

Just got back from Alaska Cruz. Very different country up there. Went Salmon fishing with my fam and got 12 coho and 1King salmon. I also found a small stream LOADED with salmon! you can literally pull them out with your hand.....which i just had to do.

Also hit the shed on Sunday did well with some smallies and some beaver lookin pickrel. Hit the shed again today for only an hour and half with only 1 small, 1 pickerel, missed some smallies. There was only 1 other guy out there. anyone w red jeep?

Also hit Pines lake from 7-9 and got a hog LM, took the spotlight out and shined it down on a absolutely massive pike, had to be close to 38". but we spooked him immediately. also saw dead pike about 33" on the bottom- not good.

Way to go Bird..those are some great pic and nice report(s)....I hit the sheds also early this morning.....was non existant bite just about all day.......Didn't even take any pix it was that horrific......Had high expectations for today but it was a bust.....

thanks ice ! yea the bite today was so-so, pretty hot out there. i wish i could fish early weekdays but gotta wait to weekend.



i also learned an important lesson................. dont take your girlfriend fishing. this is what happens lol

Be happy she's out of the way... Mine stepped on my rods and broke at least one... it started a steady cycle of increasing boat size. 16 years, a wedding, 2 dogs, 3 houses, a kid and 4 boats later, she rarely goes with me anymore.

nice report and pics, those salmon are making me anxious to get up to NY :) good job on the fishing, nothing like when theyre so thick u can walk on em haha

and as far as GF's go some are better then others.......my new one will get up at dawn and stay out all day as long as I give her one end of the boat to get a suntan, cant complain at all. If its cloudy she wants a rod n reel and will fish hard, think this ones a keeper

Thanks my man, i cant wait to get upstate for them too. im actually gona have to work for the fish this time! ive been eating good on them.
