Hey guys,I fished from 4:30 am to 10:30 this morning,I was on a mission to get a muskie, well not today I did loose a small tiger 18'' or so right at the boat and got a quick glimpse of 2 30'' range fish 1 was a follow and the other was right on the surface.I casted a strike king spinner bait and a #6 blue fox buck tail all morning.Got 2 dink pickerel and lost the tiger on the spinner bait the big buck tail got the follow and a 20'' LMB by far the best bass of the summer for me.I did throw my frog in the pads for a bit 2 blow ups no hook ups. Here is the LMB and the buck tail he hit.

nice healthy LM! Dont be scared to upsize ur lures, Id try a baby cowgirl at the least and even double cowgirls this time of year. Chartruese/firetiger is a great all around color, all black/silver blades too, and make sure u change direction best u can when u raise a fish and get a follow, loop or figure 8 the beast til he nails it

Me and my buddy got out there around sundown, threw a few frogs in the lilies and a little further out with the spinner and got NOTHING.
Probably just a bad time of day to go, anyhow great fish man !!

LOL - he's just showing his support for Anthony Weiner.
Yeah, some judicious picture cropping may be in order.
I'm just glad the 'mouse was in the house'.

There are two diametrically opposed types of fishing reports coming out of Little Swartswood. Half of the reports exalt the high quality of fishing there and the other half lament the difficulty of fishing and the impenetrable weeds.

Let's focus on the fish guys:rolleyes: It is a self pict but not 1 from the other kind of sites you guys lurk at.
I'm going to try after work today for that muskie.

Great bass.
I religiously use the blue fox silver blade with white bucktail, that's my go-to-lure. But there are times I think a different color combo is in order. I rely too heavily on the silver/white spinner and there's times it just doesn't produce. I should have one like yours as a backup after hearing everyone else does well with it too.
