August 15th Fluke Limits - Johnny Bucktails

Today I had a 3 man crew of the lip, my neighbor, and myself. Was given a beautiful day and made the best of it. Took the boys to one of my favorite spots and had plenty of action. The keeper ration was terrible so i made a move and found more and better fish. Put my new bucktails to the test and all i can say is " wow ". Before using these most of my fish came on the top hook but not anymore, they just inhale it. Showed my neighbor the ropes and he started slaying them. Had to of caught 40 fluke. 17 of them were keepers. Only keeping our 15 of course. Dont want to brag but i did have 11 of them... maybe more because i was handing off to my buddy. All i know is that he told me that if it was a charter, he would be back tomorrow lol. We had so much fun with a lot of laughs. Another Successful day and beautiful day on the water. Not to many big fish, 5 and half was biggest.

Nice Report John. I have been looking at a lot of your reports and I am impressed. You are very precisional on a constant basis, and thats what it takes to hammer fish instead of being lax all the time and an "average" fishermen. I am trying to do the exact same thing, although I do not have a boat:D . Looking foward to the next report!
