got things together early enough that my buddy and i were launched before dawn yesterday

first wildlife of the day, bald eagle (AMERICA, F@#$ YEAH!!)

first fish of the day, football, almost as wide as it was tall

around now you could hear the awesome sounds of the stake cutting competition (cut 2x4 in half w/ pistols) over at my range (AMERICA, F@#$ YEAH!!)
looks kind of small in the pic (angle maybe?) but this sammy went 19.5"

little guys too

had a couple more good sammies come unbuttoned at the boat. fish were suspended at 12-14 fow over deep water or hugging bottom in shallower waters. they were feeding actively from 14' to the surface. trolling, jigging, drifting all worked.

around 12:30 we decided to call it a day and head back. then while trolling the way to the ramp nailed this toad of a larry (only one landed all day, had one other little larry come off)

it was a good morning. new PB lmb and smb in the same outing. only thing that could have made it better would have been if wally made an appearance, but hey, can't have everything.

we were doing CPR all day and i got all the big fish on video, including some real nice acrobatics. i'll try to get that edited and uploaded in the next couple days.

shed forever!

Nice Job! Just started fishing the Sheds this year and realize there's an art to understanding these lakes...looks like you've figured it out! Went out yesterday and managed a nice browny on a swimbait...finally getting somewhere. Keep up the good work....Tightlines!

thanks guys, it was a lot of fun

they were hitting lots of stuff, but the top producer was a good old round head jig & mr twister

had a chance to get the video edited, bunch of good jumps, and the bucketmouth even does a little tailwalk at the end
