Hit the river last night for a couple hours in nice conditions, Started throwing baits and realized I missed one of the eyes on my rod. I contemplated fixing it but man am I glad I did. Next cast BAM BAM BAM DRAG SCEAMING!:D Fish peeled about 100 yards of line up river on the first run without stopping, I had to run up the shore a little to keep up with her. I had the sudden fear she was going to spool me on 10# test as I could see the metal showing on the spool, Luckily I was able to stop her and regain some line, about 15 minutes later I was able to land a descent river striper, not my biggest but definitely the best fighting, Fish went about 15#, here's a couple pics

Nice fish man!!! It's been a good year for river Stripers!!! I know that parking lot, HAHAHAHA! Great friggin catch!!!! I don't know why more people don't fish the Big DIZZLE, but I'm glad they don't.

I tried fishing from shore near bulls island park a few times, not even a bite. Is it better to fish at night?

NICE FISH, summer time in the big d last year I got a 26'' (the only striper I ever got in the river) at eastback boat ramp north of bushkill on the pa side.

Big D up & muddy.

Yesterday, below Frenchtown caught a 24" striper, 2 similarly sized channels & an eel. All on crawdad tails.

Live lined the eel for a bit,.......but no luck.
