Not my report but it's def worthwhile!

My buddy Steve hit Farrington yesterday, midday, on his way to a Drs appt. Stopped at Farrington and started throwing a frog in the pads for a few mins. On one of his first casts his frog got totally demolished by a toad but he missed the strike...so it goes with frogs.

After the Drs appt., still fuming from his missed strike, he ran home, scooped his kayak and went back to the scene on the crime. This time he switched it over to a senko. Dropped the senko in the same hole right by where his frog got clobbered earlier and it paid off--big time. Peep the pic below.

He didnt have a scale or tape measure to accurately size the fish but the kayak paddle the fish is laying on is 21". This fish was a tad longer as evidenced by the picture. Judging by the girth I'd say the fish is close to 6 lbs. A proper TOAD!!

.

According to the legnth-weight charts, 21" should put him square in the six pound range.
What a pig!
