As we all know I fish round valley quite a bit and mostly at night in the summer. I have been looking for a green light to use and was wondering if anyone uses one as well. I see a couple for twenty or thirty dollars made by optronics but the reviews were horrible and the other ones I saw were way out of my price range. IF SO, what kind do you use and how much was it and would you recommend it? I see a few guys out there with some really nice ones, they light up about 25ft around the boat or more. I already have a clear one but looking to upgrade Thanks.....

Good question, I use one I made from a tractor light from tractor supply. It works good for seeing my bobbers when I tilt it up a little and draws bait in sometimes but it's not submersible and I would like to upgrade to, but there's so much junk on the market I don't know what to buy or build if I knew what components to buy.

I use the hydro glo on my dad's boat when chunking tuna out in the canyons. It def brings up the bait. Even had a swordy swimming around it one night. I'm not sure if they make smaller ones, though. The one we use is like 36".

I literally just ordered the 18" Bass Pro green light yesterday. From what I've read, the guys that have issues with them have not sealed them up and have water leakage. I'll be sealing mine with RTV/silicon before I use it. Two friends of mine run the same one without any sealing and they have worked great for them.

I thought this post was going to be about a UFO encounter at RV.

LOL Wanaque Reservoir is the place for that. I've read more than a few articles in Weird NJ about people seeing strange things over that place.
