Sitting up here on Lake George NY with the wife and kids enjoying a nice family vacation. This is my 6th time up here in the last 10 years but the first time I haven't brought my boat. My wife said she wanted a fish free vacation and that's what I gave her. It's very hard for me to sit here and stare at this gigantic lake knowing what Ive caught here in the past. Smallies, Largemouth, Lakers and a few Pike were on the end of my lines in past vacations on Lake George. It's like taking candy from a baby up here. Close by is Champlain, Schroon Lake, Schroon river and a whole world of water that I'm not going to touch. I love my wife and right now I'm taking one for the team, seeing as my Jersey guys are doing some good catching. Vacation thus far has been relaxing and quite enjoyable. When I get home Saturday afternoon, I'm headed right for the BIG D!!!!! Keep at it fellas, and if its not too much to ask, catch a fish for me! I'm hurtin!!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!!!!!:D

Hahahahaha, thank for the support fellas. You guys gotta know I have my 5 ft ultra lite hidden in the family vehicle. I'm on the shallow end of the lake. Lots of small fish around. I could walk to the channel where it's dug out for the steam boats, 150 yards away. Still a great time. TIGHT LINEZ!!!

Ok fellas, I got a pass to fish this evening after dinner. Fished the rocks at the southern tip of LG. right where the steam boats are docked. Launched sencos into the depths and got 8 Smallies between 9- 14 inches. Nothing huge but I got my fix. Alot of fun on the ultra lite rod. All fish were caught on the black with blue flake and all caught between 8-9 pm. :D

Good job!

I'm going up the 2nd week of August to do some Lake Trout fishing, bringing my boat. I've never fished up there before but I'm sure we'll find some fish.
