Had a chance to take my nephews fishing for their first time and I was excited as they were, lol. Took em to flathead bait paradise, lol..... Gotta say, either I'm a great teacher or these guys are natural fisherman. Within 20 min they were casting, hooking, and landing slob sunnies like pros. Even a double header, I was def proud!!!

Along the way, one of them hooked into a turtle I couldn't I'd? Had the spiked back legs of a snapper but nothing else looked similar. Big oval shaped shell def unlike a snapper.

Also, me and my fiance had a bluegill tourney going. She won with a handful of a fish. Damn, guess I have to "pay up" lol. Saw a "Big" lmb take my fiance's worm off the hook but we couldn't get em. Great day had by all, asked the kids if they would go fishing again, and they were askin when and where, lol. They're hooked, lol. Can't wait to see them reel in a bass or a pike. Soon enough..........

Awesome man I love seeing these posts glad you got the little buys into the sport early and they enjoyed it. The turle kind of looks like soft shell turtle not really sure though. I've seen one very similar below the dundee last year.
