LH contest, I suck 6/22

Fished the Stew Lant LH Challenge with Matt on Saturday. Fishing started off great, crappies to 14 inches, a couple Smallies and some nice Largemouth during the daylight hours. Sun sets and we're on the right spots. Matts hooked up with a nice Walleye around 3 lbs and a 19 inch Wiper. Nothing to weigh in. Good job Matt, glad you got your Fix. I on the other hand was swinging and missing like AROD, LOL!!!! I couldn't come tight with anything. I was going to use Herring for the first time but when I checked the time on my phone I realized Dows was closed.:mad: Oh well, I have to suck once in a while. It's fishing not catching, well for me it's usually catching!!!:rolleyes: That's my shitty report and I'm all fired up for the next adventure. Delaware River Monsters coming soon!!!!!! YEA BUDDY, TIGHT LINES!!!!!!!!

P.S. Bunker Dunker's son won the contest. The kid is a fishing machine!!! Congrats BD wherever you are! I'd like to fish with you and Eddie one of these days!:D

How was the Herring activity? Fish still blowing up on them? Water temp?

Herring were spotty where we fished lots of LM and other fish blowing up on em. Surface water temp was 74. Fished one cove that seemed to have all the herring in the lake all stacked up, fish everywhere, herring everywhere but no hook ups. Weeds are an epic horror. I'm outta there til September. You can definitely still catch fish. Right place, right time and the right lure. Go get em!!!
