My Favorite Lake in NJ: Pines Lake, in Wayne

Gotta say, out of all the places i fish, good old Pines Lake in Wayne is the absolute best fishing in my experience year round.

Anyone else fish here??

It is catch and release ONLY and is a Private Lake.....so its good to have a friend that lives on there

Has awesome largemouth, smallmouth, hybrids, and even Pike. BIG pike. Super clean water, electric only.

Its deff worth making a friend who lives on here.

I just got back in from a quick 2 hour trip on the lake. awesome fishing even for a couple hours.

p.s whats a good recommendation for a marina on LH? Father and I want to rent a boat slip. thanks.

Too funny! A buudy of mine and I used to "poach" Pines Lake
back in the day. We used to show up there and launch like we belonged
while suspicious residents stared at us. It was all catch, photo, and release
though. The LMB in that place were EPIC! Every bass was over 2 lbs and some were
5-6 lbs. We caught multiple bass each and just such a nice lake to be on. Thanks for posting.
Brings back great memories, although I think I wouldn't aunch there again if not in the company of a resident.
