I fish mon - wed, been out once since may 5th. Either the wind or rain has just made me not go out. Was out last Wednesday nice day. Plan to fish tomorrow for fluke. Launch out of Rumson and fish the Hook area.

Stripers are loving this bad weather, they do all their feeding in it , then when we get fishable weather they swim under the boat with FULL bellies LOL

Using all these bad weather days to do some work around the house and make some deposits in the wife's emotional bank account so I can make some withdrawls when the weather clears. ;)

Wait until mid-September, and they tell us we are over quota!! Put the boat in early May, and have only run 4 hours. The nice days have been work days, days off have been crap.

Gerry - my wife just said that to me last night..... "its weird having you in the house right now.. not leaving at 4am every morning.."

lol - I am actually up playing with monopoly money with the wife right now.. soon enough she gonna make it hard for me, since she has been ust to years of this....

Honey - I dont want nothing for fathers day.. the only gift I want is for you to not give me sh*t when I go fish.. thats all I want....I ask for it every year.... :D

What weather? Looks pretty damn nice to me outside. Maybe a bit bumpy out here but nothing serious. 6 people in Breille, 0 in PP, a few in Belmar.....wtf?

Over the last thirty days, the weather window on a scale of 1 - 10 is a 2.

I am not just talking about today..

Not many in Atlantic Highlands either. Couple boats out just to accommodate the few who came down.
Every day lost is a day we won't get back!

True story regarding wife and fishing. Back when I was still working would tell my wife on friday I was going fishing tomorrow. Although nothing was planned for the weekend she would say "How long did you know this, why didn't you tell me earlier". Well I thought for a minute and then said " Well I'm going fishing every Sat and Sun for the rest of the year. If I'm not going I will let you know". That took care of that and never had to deal with the how come you did not tell me. Now semi-retired and fish mostly weekdays. Life is short, enjoy the time you go left, it goes by fast !

"They" are wrong. Climate change is real, we're seeing it right here in our backyard. Remember the wacky winter we had last year, snappers in the bay by mid June, fluke exiting the rivers around the same time.
