Got out with skillfullangler earlier in the week for some pike fishing on the high dirty river. Skillfullangler picked off 2 quick pike in the main current both in the 25 - 30 inch range. Made Our way into one of the creeks that are usually unfishable but due to the high water made it a nice little backwater section. Slowly crept all the way to the end and got some action. 1 more pike each. Biggest being in the lower 30's. On our way Back skillfullangler got hammered in another shallow flat by sloppy large mouth. All fish taken on the Mepps giant killer. Yesterday had some time to kill early so I threw the Musky lures around a little. Had 1 come off boat side around 35 inches then stuck one on my last cast of the day by the boat launch. Fish went 42in and fought hard..
