If you're expecting trout pics, move along. :p :D

My buddy and I went out yesterday looking for some bass pigs. Found water temps from 66-68* in some parts, others still around 65*. Caught about 10 bass, a couple smallies and some largemouth in the shallows (somehow all the foot traffic didn't scare them). Biggest smallie went almost 3lbs (should've been closer to 4lbs if it was eating but we think she just spawed). Saw some big carp there. A few catfish. Some real nice trout in the shallows. I had a REALLY good trout following my crankbait at one time that I actually would've loved to catch after seeing it's size. I would've been ok with a trout like that in one of my pictures. Definitely was in the 5-7+ lb range.

Biggest largemouth went to me at 5lbs 02oz:

ENORMOUS!

Looks like that bass is capable of making a meal out of the trout stocked in there. I wonder if those super-sized swim baits that look like trout have a place at RVR....

There are some bigguns in there. That's for sure. They're just not easy to get to bite, but they've been seen. This was my second 5lb'er out of there.
