Big D Saturday Night

Well it was actually sat night and sun but I thought Big D Saturday Night sounded cool. Hit the river sat evening looking for some shad with my bud Tom. No love from the shad, but I did catch my first ever walleye so I guess it's my PB at about 18 inches on a flutter spoon. You never know what your going to come up with out there, another Friend caught a nice brown. Hit it again sun afternoon for a few hour with my son and grandson. The shad were a lot more cooperative got 6 on and 4 to the net it's always nice to see the kids get some fish even if they are 36 oh yea and 12.

Congrats on your first walleye as well, caught my first last year and can't wait to catch more!!! They are an awesome looking fish.
