I tried the falls yesterday with no luck. I'd like to find a striper at some point. I saw the biologists netting further down river and was told later by two fishermen that they netted shad a few big stripers. I'd like to hook on of those stripers. Think I might try NB at high tide.

It's too elaborate for some Joe Shmoe, must be F&G, I will be contacting them shortly.

I fished down in Somerset, by the 2nd 287 crossing, didn't catch anything, but I saw TONS of baby fish, some as small as grains of sand, others at least 2 inches long. Did see a gaggle of sunfish hanging around the bank also, looked like they were geting ready to get ready.

When we floated the river the other day we saw tons of small fish everywhere. In some spots you couldnt see the bottom there were so many. Pretty encouraging

Here are some videos from last years research. We are a lot more successful this year, learning from the experiences from last year as well as local fishermen!

The anchors broke loose and got dragged downstream. We have caught, tagged, and released many shad this year via the Fyke net!
