Hit the shed for a few hours today. On the water around 4, nobody around. :) Went searching for BIG toothies so we started off throwing big inline and double blade spinners. Not much to show for the first hour or so I decided to downgrade a bit. Threw on my favorite crank bait and continued on. Not long after, it gets smashed..........

Just by the way it hit and almost took the rod out of my hands, I thought it was a musky. After a hard run or two it came up to the surface and I saw it was a BIG smallie!!!! Fought like a beast!!! Pretty sure it's the biggest I've ever caught. Didn't weigh it, but I'm callin it 5.5#.

Picked up another smaller bass soon after and that was it for the day..........

Man I thought that last one was gonna be hard to beat!! This pb may hold for a while, lol. Just wanted to get a few evenings in cause, it's Playoff Time!!! Gonna be glued to the tv a few nights out of the week so I won't have time to get out there... LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!
