Did anyone notice the crappy editing job when about halfway through the show, they were acting like their was tuna under the boat, but when they showed the dept finder, it said they were in 6.9ft?? LOL!!

Not sloppy editing. When my scope or anyone other boats scope are set to read the top of the water column and not the bottom it is lost and will show a fictitious depth, one that is not correct.
Anytime you don't see the bottom you will see a number that's not correct. None of us are in 6.9 feet of water.

Why would you do that?

There is no denying that Paul and his brother are probably the best fisherman out of those on the show.

Most of the fish we catch are hooked in the top 2/3 of the water column. Having the scope on a smaller scale makes it easier to see the fish, much the same as zooming in or out on a chart plotter.

Not so sure about that . With one exception they are all pretty close . I would work for all but one . Tuna.com would be my first choice . Hard Merch. second . I wouldn't work on the Bounty Hunter unless Capt. Mike Bogan would run it and Chuck would work Deck with me .

Dave , do you have to have two Licensed Captains on board when you are out more than a day ? Do you even need your 6 Pac to commercial fish for Bluefin Tuna ?

I don't even think you need a license unless it's for hire. Most of the trips we are out for multiple days, sometimes up to 5 as are many other boats that do not even have a licensed captain on the boat.
