Dorothy B Saturday 4/20 Excellent Catching Today!

The weather may have kept people away but it was their loss! The bass were chewing today and we limited the boat out before lunch time. High hook Jose had 14 keepers and 6 shorts (keeping only his legal limit of course) including the 18 lb pool fish. One of our young guns, Alex, was aboard with his dad Joe and had his first ever striper limit. Plenty of action all day with some shorts but mostly keepers and we ended up playing catch and release at the end.

The bite is on so come down and get some!

Thinking about coming down Thursday for Stripers but all my coolers are Fluke size...Obviously I have one big enough to get fillets home, but do you need a coffin size cooler for party boat striper fishing

You don't really need a giant cooler. We usually bleed the fish out in water in a big barrel and with the weather and water being cool nowadays it's not a problem.

That being said there is room on the boat in the bow for a cooler if you choose to bring one. A 72 qt size is good enough for bass up to around 20lbs. See you down there!
