hit the river again to use the last of the bloods i bought not a bite I have never in 24 years of fishing that river been skunked now this is 2 times in a row in 3 different spots.Not a channel,white perch,eel or striper in sight either. Guess I lost the touch

i actually have had skunk ahhahahahahh. Just annoyed I know this river like my bathtub & I am seeing great reports,no pics, but great reports. I do not even want the stripers they just get in the way but i need them yummy delware channel cats for the fry pan!

When all else fails, relax, have a beer if your a drinker. Soak some good old night crawlers or chicken livers.

throw sumthing different like eddie says. Ive always had luck w worms or livers in the river. Things are def different since the big storm, but they are in there just be patient, maybe ur being tested to see if you deserve the big momma cattyfish lol.....golf sucks btw

I caught 1,009 fish in 47 NJ fresh water ultralight jigging trips this year with 1/32 oz leadhead jigs and 1" twister tails on 2 lb test line. My biggest fish were a 20" largemouth bass and 19" bowfin. When I tried to post pics, this web site said that they were too big so I posted on //www.newjerseyhunter.com instead.

It needs to warm up a little more and STAY warm and no effing WIND...then it will be game on;)
