So I finally got to see them stock the D&R Canal yesterday afternoon. They had a young blonde woman who looked great, but was IMO a little to weak to be manning the net and stocking these fish. I thought she was going to drop the net every time the guy handed it to her and she was dropping the fish on a pipe below the bridge. Anyway they put 3 nets on either side of the bridge. Each net seemed to hold at lest one breeder, that was an unexpected bonus. We caught nothing for about 2 hour even tho I threw everything in the box at them. Then they started to hit bait and a few were pulled up. Next they were hitting spinners and some guy caught one of the breeders they put in. I ended up with a nice 16" rainbow and a cookie cutter 9.5" rainbow. Some dude pulled up with an ocean pole and tossed a spinner from the top of the bridge and first cast he caught one of the breeder browns they put in. Some people are just born lucky I guess.

It was in West Trenton. The guy on the stocking truck told me the bridge was the last stop on the Feeder Canal. Rt. 175 and Upper Ferry Road.
