Fished the Valley on saturday after noon after stopping at Behr's for some shiners from 12:00 till 6:00 Fished bait (shiners, worms,Pbait) NOTHING!!!
Very few boats out maybe four or five at most. fished several area's and didn't see anybody doing much either. Finally after several hours I decided to troll for a while and look for some fish. Trolled rapala's and got smallie about two pounds off the north shoreline and that was it. Trolled almost the entire shoreline of the entire lake!!! That was a wish fish, ya know the one that you say I wish I could catch just one!!!!LOL water temp was 43-44 degree's.......................................... .....................................
Sunday stayed local went to Davidson Mills with my daughterand we ended up with three largemouths and four pickerel in about two and a half hours from 4:30 till 7:00 Haven't been there in many years, not in the best of conditions, extremely silted in very
shallow but fishing wasn't half bad.
Quality time with seventeen year old daughter: PRICELESS!!!
