Fished up near Basking Ridge today for the lil bastard trout. They are stacked. First hole downstream from the bridge. Caught about 30 in an hour and a half on the bumble bee rooster tail. No pics of the lil bastard trout today for they were all about 10-11 inches. All released. GO GET EM!!!

Very true! My freezer is currently loaded with bait. I don't fluke fish much anymore, but do know that the cut trout and salmon sure do put a hurting on some fluke.

Tooth free Passaic report??? It cant be!!! Did they hit big white spinnerbaits? Jumbo shiners maybe?

Sounds like a good time Eddie. Non-stop action is always awesome!

So would you eat one of those from the Passaic? Obviously they're pretty much hatchery-fresh, but still...

These were caught WAYYY upstream of any of the tainted waters associated with the Passaic. The water quality is pretty good up there.

People eat stocked Trout that come out of far worse bodies of water in NJ lol.

Eat em up while they are fresh. Like Skunk said, there are tons of places in NJ that are much worse.
