Short video of a pickerel slamming a topwater:

Largest was just a tad shy of 4lbs.

I think the torn up bass thumb is proof of a good day.

At one point I got 26 bass in 51 minutes and 34 in 93 minutes.

Here are the photo time stamps for one incredible stretch of of action:

8:51, 8:53, 9:00, 9:02, 9:09, 9:17, 9:23, 9:24, 9:25, 9:26, 9:28, 9:29, 9:31, 9:32, 9:33, 9:35, 9:38, 9:41, 9:43, 9:45, 9:47, 9:49, 9:51, 9:52, 9:53, 9:53, 9:55, 9:56, 9:58, 10:02, 10:05, 10:07, 10:09, 10:12, 10:14.

All in one shallow, mud bottomed cove and I never moved more than 50'.

Quite possibly my best day ever. Not numbers but the fast action.

Helluva day.

How was work? :p

Congrats on a banner day! Enjoy it, they don't come around very often.

Rare indeed. Normally its the pickerel that come non-stop. I've had plenty of 50-100 pickerel days where they become almost annoying. I've had high smallmouth bass days in the 70-80 range but thats all day and most under 10"

I fished the same lake last spring - twice - and never got more than 5 bass. Timing is everything - and luck.
