Hit a local lake (more of a swamp with good fish really) on one of the WMA's in Sussex county last night from 5-6pm. Even though the sun was up, the wind was rippin' so bad it still felt pretty cold. Managed 1 dink LMB on a yellow Roostertail. Also tried a small spinner bait and a wacky rigged senko but no love there. The bass haven't really woken up here yet so I'll take it for the first one of the season. In fact, when I stopped by Ryker lake the other day, about 50% of it still had ice. Gotta work Saturday so next up is Hopatcong Sunday if the weather cooperates...
