Amazing hardly any anglers out today where yesterday standing room only!
Fish an abbreviated day due to holiday . Managed 5 for 8 , all very hard fighting bows ! Some reason these PA bows jump & fight very hard for average bows!
Tomorrow should be decent , two more openers to go , April will be a trout fish Every
day month!! Love it !

Thanks! This was taken on opening day , largest Palimino I ever caught @6# 10oz @ 25.5 " ! Oddly enough this fish finally took a spinner that was at least 40 years old , but proved perfect for water conditions on Saturday!

Wow nice clean fish with great fins for a stocked trout.

Really, 6lb. hatchery fish with no raceway burns and full fins.
I thought Pa. stocked 13" fish in the spring ?

Ya , I did as well, but many streams in my local get a good dose of bigger fish! I'm out today & located another big fish stopped my lure solidly & Boiled like
most due , more like anangry swipe than a true hit!
Oddly enough most of my 5# + fish & as of Sat, this was my 21st over that mark in the last 3 seasons since I began counting & honestly most were in pristine shape body & fin wise .
I can only remember a couple that showed tail wear! Many in 2 to 4# range had more fin wear than any bigger fish I caught!
