The inaugural year of Sharkbite Bucktails was more than I could have ever expected it to be and this year is by far exceeding my business model goals very early on. The members of this site have been and continue to be instrumental in that success. That said, I will not be renewing the sponsorship status on the site for this year at the end of this month as I continue to grow the business with additional marketing venues and strategies. I plan to be attending the flea market circuit this coming year and already adding to the list of charter boats and tackle business partners as well as internet sales and fishing tournaments for continued growth. As always, I am available for donations and sponsorship for the various foundation events conducted throughout the year. Like the Sharkbite Bucktail page on Facebook as many have already, and bookmark the Sharkbite-Bucktails website to stay connected to ongoing specials and events posted.
I will still be producing the jigs for your use day in and day out...and will remain an ambassador on the site to put in my .02 and report on fishing trips, etc.
A Special thank you to Joe from Mai Tai for his advice, guidance and continuous business referrals over the past year.
Gerry, thank you for the opportunity to establish myself through your site!
Thank you to all for the feedback, the good, the bad, the ugly and even some of the mockery from a few...all feedback is good. It's how you digest it and what you then do with it. As my late grandfather told me running a small tackle shop in upstate NY, "When people try to undermine you or hurt you, you must be doing something right" ( I believe similarly quoted recently elsewhere)....apparently I am. More importantly, thanks to those who have given the input in many ways to help me grow the business.
I stay committed to my core business principles going forward. No outsourcing of production, I make what I sell. Quality will not be compromised. The pricing will continue to be the lowest. Compare to the national brands and independent lines. Thanks again to all for the support and continued business as well as the many friendships established. Tight Lines and Catch 'em up!
