I will be docking my boat at Leonardo marinara in the next couple of weeks. I am wondering where I will be able to get fuel. Leonardo, monmoth cove and the highlands will not have fuel for the foreseeable future.

Leonardo won't be open until floating docks are completed. They still haven't started the work. Last I heard was June 1st. I will be in Atlantic highlands this year due to this situation. As far as fuel, I would say twin lights in highlands, but not sure about that. Give Leonardo a call.

I spoke with Leonardo last week. They told me I could get my boat in the water the first week of April. I am in slip14 so I won't be near the dock work. I sure hope this is true.

Hey Flygaff, If possible fuel up on shore.....It's hard to figure how Sandy affected the tanks, and not very many boats went back in after the storm. Be careful out there.............Papa

I spoke with Leonardo today. I will be able to put the boat in the water April 1st if I am ready. They are moving everyone further into the marina. They will give me my new slip number next week. As far as fuel. I have a 200 gallon tank so I will fill up on the way down. I should be able to get at least a month of striper fishing from that. After that, maybe I'll put it back on the trailer and take it to the gas station. I would probably save about $250.00 a fill that way.

Just heard that Twin Lights is open and has fuel. It's down by Wind and Sea.

Pedersons in Keyport has told me that they will have fuel by May 1st and most likely sooner.

Pederson's is still a couple of weeks away from getting the fuel dock up and running...... John from the marine basin told me that they should have fuel by the end of next week. I will update as soon as I have any new info.
