I was also out on Sunday, freezing my buns off. Small grubs, skakey head, football jig, etc. NADA.

I would've been happy if I had a single bite from even minnows, perches, or anything. Absolutely nothing. I fished the surface and bottom (probably 20 feet), dragged the bait real slow, slower, just letting it sit including various drop shot at various depth for different types of lures.

You guys weren't alone in bringing home the skunk. I gave it a try on Sunday afternoon and couldn't buy a nibble. It was cold. The upcoming weather forecast takes the sting out of so many waters being closed the next few weeks.

I guess I would wait until the air temp. is around 50's and water temp is in high 40's. I am getting too old for this weather.

We Just Need Some Clear Sunny Days With No Wind.its Ok That The Air Temp Is 40 We Need The Sun To Bring The Water Temps Up

I just fished the 42 degree Carnegie/Millstone or an hour with a small jig and didn't get a hit.

Gave it a go myself on saturday for two and a half hours in the snow and didn't have a bump either! Only reason I went was cause the wind was minimal compared to what it's been but no such luck. Didn't even bother sunday but can't take too many more of these cold windy days... Didn't that damn groundhog say we were gonna have a early spring? Gonna hunt him down and make some stew!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds like a plan...Turn the ground hog into stew and enjoy the super warm spring....With the rite recipe it might kick ass...@ 20 bucks a plate, I'll take two:D :D :D
