I'm not much of a betting man but I'd put better odds on Sat. and Sun. Looks like clear and 50+ dregrees for the better part of the weekend vs Fridays 40* with rain and snow.
Get in while you can, streams close the 18th I think (except for TCA's)

Way too much snow - well over a foot of snow up here on the mountain in Sparta and still snowing like crazy... Oh well... at least it will stop in time for the Knee Deep meeting tonight.

50+ for the next week, should make for some nice fishing. Hopefully get the water temps consistently into the upper 40's and wake these fish up a bit.

I tried 2 spots yesterday and didn't get a hit in the 46 degree water. Turtles were in a pond in Central NJ. The only place that I caught fish this year was the Carnegie/Millstone but 3 other fishermen follow me around there, then fish next to me and expect me to give then all of the fish that I catch.

well, you guys didn't miss much today. i got out with my buddy mike (sigma1073) for a couple hours, not a bite between us. hopefully better fishing again soon.
I'm going to try and get out tomorrow just to shake off the rust. Probably RVR or Duke Island Falls.
Reminder that Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend, longer fishing days ahead. :D

Well I hit the musky from 10 to 1. Ended up with one rainbow around 16in, had 4 other good hits on a spinner. Water was clear and could see them come up and go for the lure and then head back down. 1 runoff with a worm and marshmellow combo but I brought my puppy wit me and I was watching him. Lets just say fishing isint for him. How do I upload a pic here from my cell ? Emailed it to myself but says file is too large to attach. Thanks guys

Got a few trout this afternoon on trout magnets. Not a touch on rapalas which I fished with 80% of the time. I should have switched up sooner.
