2013 Shad Run

I go every year on a guided shad trip on the D with my buddies, this year we plan on doing the run solo on out Kayaks. Anyone have any suggestions of where we should launch and pretty much stay put at?

Don't know about where to launch, but this time of year would be great to drive and scout out locations.

That's where I launch from too. Try fishing just above the bridge.

i never went for shad before. im just gonna use light spinning tackle jigs, spoons and darts and find shallow water to wade in and cast where its deep. maybe above Lambertville wing dam? that's where i got my first one ever last year completely by accident
