NNJ ice 1/26+1/27

Got out for a few hrs sat w my buddy anthony (jackstraw) and my buddy scotty on a small pond in sussex county. Good ice 5"+. On Saturday, Scotty got a few, and Anthony got over a dozen, he was killing em. Me I had no love, lost a slimedart at the hole and a bunch of flags w no fish on. On Sunday, Scotty and I went back out for a few hrs Anthony couldnt make it last min and I did much better had a great day. About a dozen fish, half jigged half on tipups, Scotty did pretty good too. Heres pics to prove it happened, was really nice to see the fishing buds again, and we had great weather to boot.......

Good lake. Some decent bass in there but its mostly pickerel haven with some solid 24"+ fish. It becomes a pad-filled mess by early May which hurts the shoreline fishing but u can still pick up a few in the gaps just plan on losing lures along the way.
