Hit the passaic again today and did pretty well. Can't really compete with my PB yesterday but did get another solid pike. Both fish came in slack water on firetiger husky jerk, but the bigger one I got today did take a swipe and follow on a swim jig with chigger craw trailer. I wound up throwin the jerk bait in and next cast got him to commit. Fish went about 11lbs and 34inches. Didn't fight anything near like the one I caught yesterday. This week is going to be to real good on the river with warmer temps, but I'm still looking for my first bass of 2013. Had what I believe was a big smallie follow on the jig but wouldn't commit. First two pics below are of the larger fish. Pattern today was kind of strange I wound up getting one where I thought a fish would be sittin but the bigger fish was almost in open water over I believe a submerged log. Fished pretty slow today but it wasnt like days past I did have a little faster retrieve than normal.
