Funny you should ask, my grandmother was a home shopping junkie and actually bought both of them, one set for me and the other for my son. At first i thought it was just another piece of crap but first tried the fish one first in the bay during a blitz and did catch stripers that were feeding on peanut bunker!!! It didn't hold up too well though ripped a treble right off it and then i didn't rise it off so the salt jammed it up and never worked right after that but i do have another new one and the frog as well. never used them but might try em out one day they do have good fluttering action in the water and i bet the frog might be killer near some pads. Why did you buy some? Let me know how you do if you did! LOL!!!!! CHUCK WILLERY SAYS HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe this lure concept is new at all. If I remember the biggest downfall of this set up was it was hard to rewind on the float, not sure but I saw one years ago that's what I was told .
Hard yo tell w/o getting one and trying it , personally I believe more of a gimmick than a lure!

U Gotta use a decent rod and give it a pretty good yank to reactivate it almost too much commotion on a calm lake or pond The schoolies we were catching would ate prob anything that in front of their noses so can't say how good or bad they are but i agree more a gimmick than a "go to" in the box!

Yeah These aren't new at all. I've had two bought for me over ten years ago but always thought of them as a novelty item. One that I had was a frog that made its legs kick and swim. Pretty cool idea tho
