Budd lake Ice

Hoping to get out this weeekend with my buddy for some pike.... anybody know if there is safe ice and about how thick? cause he's a big dude and 3 inches of ice aint gonna cut it if you know what i mean haha

My buddy was out today. 4-inches. He got 2 pike and a pickerel. I saw the pics, pike were 25 and 26 inches and very fat.

Yeah if that's the case with 4 inches we'll definately be able to go by the weekend..... by that time there will probably be about 6 or 7 hopefully:D haha and hopefully we get the same luck or better:) as your buddy

Yea budd lake is starting to freeze up good.. saw a few people out there

I stopped by there on new years day there were four guys about ahundread yards out from the launching area. ice was bout 3" thick then. Def good to good goodluck!
