I just pulled down two 7'6" Eglass offshore sticks off the epoxy rack. They utilize a Fish Poison EGLASS rod blank [heavy 30-60 lb.] that makes it a great rod for Ofshore Sea Bass, Cod, Pollack, Tuna, and Tilefish.
$185= 6 brace HD hyaloy guides, epoxy fortified mushroom tips. No other rod has the durability and performace features of this rod. Can jig 6-20oz., dead drag up to 44 oz, medium taper/the best bottom fish taper.
iF YOU HAVE AN OFSHORE SEA BASS TRIP, OR TILE TRIP, THESE RODS WILL "PUT A HURTIN" ON THE FISH. NO ROD AT ANY PRICE WILL COME CLOSE TO PERFORMANCE!
$175= 7'6" BLACKFISH KILLER!!!
I like the sound of that offshore stick. Got a pic? I have a rod that was given to me by the boys on the Big J and it has slayed a lotta fish and is gonna slay some more, but was thinking about getting a backup.
I like that 7' 6" length. Nice rod.
E glass and those guides are industructible.
Great value too.

Slim, no pic, the rod is all black, no colors, but!!! it's a fish killing machine.
Leif, the mates and captains on the Big J like the longer rods.

Picked one of these rods up about a month ago and it is perfect for tog. No double digits yet on it but i can tell it will do the job nicely. I bought the rod for the trips i call "the chase for the record" 26lbs pounds will do but 30lbs would be even nicer. Lol wishful thinking but i can now say i didn't lose the battle cause of the stick.

Hey, Kevin I have one of your heavier tog sticks my wife got me for my birthday. 7 foot e glass model. Do you think it has the cajones for offshore sea bass?
I love it for toggin and it handled 10-12oz just fine so I think it'll be good but I'd like your opinion.

Had one of these made up a few years back, use it mostly in the winter months and jigged the sh*t out of COD up in Glouchester with it two summers ago. 16oz hammered in 400 ft of water no prob - double header cod on jig and teaser...
If I get time tonight I'll post a pic of the one Kev made for me with nice Gimbal butt and heavy duty reel seat. Looking forward to banging some Biscuits on the 19th with it!!
Rod has great action and nice bend to it, given the thickness of the stem you would think it fishes like a clunker but its got a suprisingly soft tip and plenty of backbone when one of those bruiser POLLACK take a sniff!
